Things to do in Sedona without hiking

You don't need to hike to love Sedona. Some of the best views come from a jeep seat, a helicopter, a train window or a short walk from the car.

Let someone else do the work
Jeep tours reach the backcountry on rough roads, and helicopter flights show how the whole landscape fits together in 15 to 50 minutes. Balloon flights are the gentlest of all, but you'll need an early start.
Views a few steps from the car
The Chapel of the Holy Cross, the Airport Mesa overlook and Crescent Moon Picnic Site all deliver big views with very little walking. Driving the Red Rock Scenic Byway is a hike-free tour of Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte.
Relaxed half days
The Verde Canyon Railroad takes about four hours through a roadless canyon. A Verde Valley wine tour or an afternoon at Tlaquepaque fills the rest of the day.
History and culture
Montezuma Castle's paved loop is short and flat. The Sedona Heritage Museum covers the town's orchard and movie history.
