Hot air balloon rides
Lift off at sunrise and drift over the valley as the sun lights up the cliffs.
Balloon flights launch at dawn, when the air is calmest. The total outing, including meeting, launch, flight and landing, often takes most of the morning, though time in the air is shorter.
Flights depend on the weather and are sometimes cancelled on the morning itself. Check how the operator handles weather cancellations.

- Plan it early in your trip so a weather cancellation can be rebooked.
- Dress in layers. Mornings are cold, and it warms up fast.
